Dr. Tareq A. Ramadan is an interdisciplinary professor of Anthropology and Near Eastern Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he regularly teaches courses in Middle Eastern, Arab and Islamic history, society, politics, and culture. Tareq also teaches similar courses at Henry Ford College in Dearborn.
Over the years, Tareq has participated in and/or conducted archaeological and museum-based fieldwork in Detroit and in Jordan, working with institutions like Brown University, the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, the Jordan Department of Antiquities, and the Jordan National Bank Numismatic Museum, among others.
Tareq is also a historian and a writer and is currently the Project Manager at Project We Hope Dream & Believe.
